Postgraduate Program of English Education (MPBing) was established on January 28, 2014, based on a mandate letter from the Directorate General of Higher Education with letter No. 77/E.E2/DT/2014. PS MPBing was founded with the historical background of the nation’s growth, which recognizes that efforts to educate and educate the nation are essential to fulfilling independence. Some of the reasons for its establishment include (1) to meet the community for
professional education personnel, (2) to assist local governments in programs to improve the quality of human resources, (3) to improve the quality of education in Bengkulu Province. Based on its establishment history, the MPBing Study Program is managed under FKIP Bengkulu University.
This study program has achieved significant recognition on both national and international levels. As of 2022, the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) has nationally accredited the program as “UNGGUL/Excellent” a prestigious milestone demonstrating the program’s commitment to high standards in academic quality and management.
In addition to this national achievement, the program attained international accreditation in 2023. The international accreditation was granted by ACQUIN (Accreditation, Certification, and Quality Assurance Institute), a leading European accreditation agency known for its rigorous evaluation processes. This international recognition highlights the program’s adherence to global standards of excellence in education and research.
With these dual accreditations, the Postgraduate Program of English Education continues establishing itself as a leading center for academic excellence, attracting national and international students and scholars.
