Community Service: IELTS Training for Participants of the Overseas Advanced Study Preparation Program (PPSL LN) 2023/2024.

In order to support the advancement of education and human resource development in Indonesia, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, in collaboration with LPDP, has successfully conducted the Foreign Language Education and Training Program for Foreign Education and Education Personnel (PPSL LN) for the year 2023/2024. This activity took place from November 27, 2023, to February 24, 2024, at the IELTS Center UPT Language of UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu.

PPSL LN aims to enhance the foreign language competence of educational personnel who will pursue doctoral studies abroad. A total of 13 participants from various regions of Indonesia enthusiastically participated in this program with a high level of enthusiasm and learning spirit.

Eko Saputra, S.Pd., M.A., and Lia Haryana, M.Pd.; the lecturers in the English Education Study Program University of Bengkulu; were assigned as instructors/speakers in this PPSL LN event, and they have made valuable contributions through their broad understanding and knowledge in the field of foreign languages. The materials presented were very beneficial for the participants, assisting them in understanding and mastering foreign languages more effectively.

During the implementation of the activity, various interactive and innovative learning methods were applied, including group discussions, real-life situation simulations, and direct practice in communicating in English. This helped participants develop their language skills more effectively. Furthermore, the collaboration between the government, organizing institutions, speakers, and participants has also had a significant positive impact on the development of education and human resources in Indonesia. The spirit of collaboration and the enthusiasm for continuous learning and development were strongly felt throughout the entire event.
