Violence and Bullying Prevention Highlighted during Student Organization Management Training

The English Education Study Program held a socialization session on violence and bullying prevention during the Student Organization Management Training (Pelatihan Manajemen Organisasi Mahasiswa/PMO). The activity was attended by student organization members and aimed to strengthen awareness of creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment.

The PMO activity primarily focused on improving students’ organizational management and leadership skills. However, the program also incorporated discussions on preventing violence, bullying, and other inappropriate behavior that may occur within student organizations. This integration reflects the study program’s commitment to embedding character education and ethical values within student development activities.

The session on violence and bullying prevention was delivered by Pangeran Muhammad Faqih Syafaat, the academic advisor of the Student Association (HIMA). In his presentation, he emphasized the importance of mutual respect, responsible communication, and early awareness in preventing harmful behavior among students, both in academic and organizational settings.

Students were also reminded of their roles as agents of change who are expected to uphold positive values and contribute to a supportive campus atmosphere. Through this socialization, students gained a clearer understanding of the importance of maintaining ethical conduct and fostering healthy interactions within student organizations.

This activity demonstrates the study program’s ongoing efforts to socialize violence and bullying prevention through various academic and non-academic initiatives. By integrating this topic into regular student activities such as PMO, the program ensures that awareness of violence prevention is continuously reinforced among students.
