Pathway Scholarship Program for Overseas Doctoral Study Preparation for PPG Lecturers

Eko Saputra, one of our dedicated English language lecturers, participated in the prestigious Pathway Scholarship Program for Overseas Doctoral Study Preparation. This program is specially designed to train lecturers from universities offering Teacher Professional Education (PPG) programs, helping them meet the criteria to receive a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from top global universities.

The focus of the program is on enhancing language proficiency, specifically through TOEFL iBT preparation, and developing academic skills essential for success as a PhD student abroad. Through this training, Eko had the opportunity to sharpen his skills and better prepare for the challenges of doctoral studies.

The program consists of two phases:

  • In-Person Phase (LURING): A three-month intensive phase held at the State University of Malang, Indonesia, providing face-to-face training.
  • Distance Learning Phase (DAEING): Lecturers, including Eko, continued their training remotely via Zoom sessions, balancing their local responsibilities with international learning.

Eko’s participation in this program marks an exciting step in his professional development, equipping him with the tools and knowledge necessary to excel in his future doctoral journey.
